Our publications
Our magazine began publication in 1980. It contains details of all the church's forthcoming activities, reports on recent events, and a series of regular and occasional articles. It is published six times a year, in February, April, June, August, October and December. It costs only 40p a copy or £2 for a year's issues delivered to your door.
We have a good number of regular advertisers, whose cash helps us keep the magazine's price so low without being a drain on the church's funds.

Guides to the church
Copies of our free leaflet, "Welcome to the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Plumtree", can be found on the display stand to the left inside the main door. A more detailed guide is in the course of revision.
Our August - September issue contains an interesting
article on a Lord Wharton Bible and an old Sunday school hymn book,
a quiz with a food theme, a further report on the editor's
'Walk to Skeggie'.
You can also find details of events coming
up and read about our local Air Cadets and the charity 'Children in
Distress'.
Recipes are included for Chicken supreme, Smoked
salmon and lemon risotto, and two summer desserts.
