Activities
St. Mary the Virgin
Parish church of Plumtree, Normanton
on the Wolds and Clipston
Flower arranging
Each week a different person arranges the flowers on the side altar, or sponsors that arrangement. At major festivals the church is transformed by flower arrangements carried out by members of the congregation, some expert, some less so, but all with the same enthusiasm to do something beautiful for God.

If you would like to be part of this activity, please contact Pauline Voce - tel. 0115 9749701.
Cleaning duties
Our church is kept clean by a large group of volunteers. They work in pairs, and their turn on the rota comes up five or six times a year. There is a separate rota for cleaning the brass. If you would like to help with this mundane but essential work, please contact Rosemary Jordan -
tel. 0115 937 2635.
A drink and a chat
Coffee, or tea, and biscuits are served by volunteers after every Sunday morning service. Occasionally there is cake! After our Harvest Festival service we have a buffet lunch. Mulled wine and mince pies are served after our Christmas service of Nine Lessons and Carols.
